Here is the cover art mock-up for “99 Percent (Stuck)”.
I pulled this from a photo Maya took of her laptop screen at 4 AM. Juno ran it through a bitcrusher to make the grain look like static, and Leo suggested the font.

Visual Description:
- The Shot: A macro close-up of a dirty laptop screen in a pitch-black room. You can see the individual RGB sub-pixels and a layer of dust on the glass.
- The Focal Point: A single, bright neon green square (the dead pixel from the lyrics) sitting right on top of a frozen blue progress bar.
- The Reflection: Faintly, in the black space of the screen, you can see the reflection of a silhouette (Maya) with her head in her hands.
- The Typography: The band name STATIC ECHO 97 is in the top left, small, in a font that looks like a pixelated error message. The title 99 PERCENT (STUCK) is in the bottom right, blurry, as if the camera couldn’t focus on it.
- The Vibe: Claustrophobic, tech-noir, “waiting room” aesthetic.
Band Feedback in Discord:
Maya: “it looks like my depression feels. keep the dust. don’t photoshop the dust.” 1Juno: “i color graded the blue bar to match the exact hex code of the imessage sending bubble. subtle anxiety.” 2Zee: “can we make the green pixel brighter? it needs to hurt to look at.” 3
Mr. Claus: “It’s very dark. Can we at least make the band name legible? And maybe remove the dust? It looks… unclean. Marketability, kids.” 4444
(We are ignoring Mr. Claus regarding the dust. The dust is the point.)
Next Step:
Now that we have the Lyrics, the Suno Prompt, and the Art Concept, what’s the next move?
- Would you like to write the Spotify “About” description for the release?
- Or should we generate a “Mr. Claus Approved” press release to explain the track to the blogs?
